Parking

The charges are £15 for residents (overnight stay until 11am on day of departure). Non Residents Charge £25 per night or £1.50 per hour.

Bookings

All offers of accommodation and other services featured on the website are subject to availability and we reserve the right to refuse any booking.

£10 off tab

Book direct incentive available as £10 off (per bedroom) food and drink in our restaurant when spending over £20.

Change of Booking Details

Reservations may be amended in line with the booking conditions accepted at the time of the original reservation(s). Change may be made subject to those conditions and any deposit/prepayment held is subject to those booking terms at the time of the original reservation.

Cookies

Google Analytics collects information anonymously. It reports website trends without identifying individual visitors. Damage to Hotel Property

We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of rectifying damage, caused by the deliberate, negligent or reckless act of the guest to the hotel’s property or structure. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to the guest’s credit/debit card, or send an invoice for the amount to the registered address. We will, however, make every effort to rectify any damage internally prior to contracting specialists to make the repairs and therefore will make every effort to keep any costs that the guest would incur to a minimum.

Inappropriate Behaviour

It is the hotel’s policy that all our guests have the right to be treated with dignity and respect and as a responsible host we believe that we have a duty to our guests to protect them from inappropriate behaviour. Should any actions by a guest be deemed inappropriate by the General Manager, or if any inappropriate behaviour is brought to the attention of the Management Team, the hotel reserves the right, after any allegations have been investigated, to take action against the guest. Depending on the severity of the guest actions, the Police may become involved at the hotel’s discretion, or guests may be asked to leave the hotel.

Insurance

We advise you to take out insurance to cover the cost of cancellation and other risks including loss or damage to personal belongings or personal accident. The hotel’s liability for guest belongings is generally limited under the Hotel Proprietors Act 1956.

Smoking

Smoking is prohibited in the hotel. This includes guest rooms, corridors, bar area and lavatories. Smoke alarms are fitted where necessary. Anyone found smoking in a guest room will be politely asked to stop as they will be breaking the law. They will also be charged £100.00 to clean the room for subsequent guests. Should the fact that smoking in the bedroom comes to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to the guests credit/debit card, or send an invoice for the amount to the registered address.

Tampering with Fire Detection Systems and Fire Fighting Equipment

We reserve the right to take action against any guest found to have tampered / interfered with any fire detection equipment throughout the hotel, including the detector heads in public areas and bedrooms, break glass points and fire extinguishers. Guests found to have tampered with any fire detection or fire fighting equipment will be charged with any costs incurred by the hotel due to their actions and additionally may be asked to leave the hotel. Depending on the severity of the guest actions, the Police may become involved at the hotel’s discretion. Should the fact that fire fighting or detection equipment had been tampered with come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to the guests credit/debit card, or send an invoice to for the amount to the registered address.

How to Enter:
To enter the competition, you must complete the contact form on the competition landing page and submit your details – signing up to receive marketing from HRH Group (owners of The Yorkshire Hotel) via Email, SMS and post.

How the Winner is Determined:
One winner will be randomly selected quarterly (every 3 months) from the pool of new newsletter subscribers from the 1st October 2024.

The Prize:

  • The prize is a 1-night stay at our hotel with dinner, bed and breakfast.
  • The stay cannot be on a Saturday night.
  • The prize is subject to availability within the hotel on your chosen date.
  • The stay must be booked and used within 3 months of the winner being selected. After this period, the prize will expire, and a new winner will be chosen.

Additional Terms and Conditions:

  1. Eligibility: The competition is open to individuals aged 18 and over. Employees of HRH Group and all of its subsidiaries, partners, suppliers and advisors, their family members, and anyone else connected to the competition are not eligible to enter.
  2. No Purchase Necessary: No purchase is necessary to enter or win the competition.
  3. Prize Non-Transferable: The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other form of compensation, unless entirely at HRH Group’s discretion.
  4. Winner Notification: The winner will be notified via the email address provided at the time of entry. If the winner does not respond within 7 days of being notified, we reserve the right to select an alternative winner.
  5. Privacy: By entering the competition, you consent to the use of your personal information for the purposes of administering this competition and for all HRH Group promotional purposes, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  6. Cancellation: We reserve the right to cancel or modify this competition if circumstances arise outside of our control.
  7. Liability: HRH Group accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, or injury incurred or suffered by the entrant as a result of entering the competition or accepting the prize.
  8. Changes to Terms and Conditions: HRH Group reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
